Anyways, I should probably introduce myself. HI, my name is Evadne. Or at least that's my avi name on gaia. I joined gaia on February 19th, 2004. Yeah, i'm an oldie. Lol.. I was 15 at the time and absolutely loved it. I made friends, quested, played games and just enjoyed the "atmosphere". After awhile I ended up leaving, though.. I thought it would be for good and gave away all my items. (stupid me) Gaia dragged me back about a year later and I had to start from scratch. I got quite a few of my items back.. stayed on gaia for a good while and then had a kid. So I left again, thinking I had a good reason to never come back. WRONG AGAIN. This time I gave all my items to someone who informed me that they'd have my items for me whenever I decided to come back. And, of course, I did. I messaged this person and they said they couldn't help me. LOL. People are assholes.
Anyways, all the reasons I loved gaia are pretty much gone. When I first started they had monthly collectibles, that's it. $2.50 each and once a month with a cap. It was exciting to find out the new collectibles. And you had plenty of time to quest for new items before they came out with new ones. Now, gaia just seems money hungry. They come out with new items all the time. Alot of the good items have to be bought for quite a bit of cash. They spend all their time making these and not doing as much to improve upon the rest of the site. Even games like Zomg you can't move ahead on without cash. It's disgusting. It's almost enough to make me stop going, but I need a hobby that doesn't cost me money, so yeah..
What do I do on gaia? I used to play Zomg. I never joined any groups or did any of the dungeons much. I have insecurity issues and people have treated me like crap about not being good enough and I can't be bothered anymore. So now I spend alot of my time doing booty grab to get gold. I have my own quests which I will post here. However, I hardly ever start quest threads or ask for help because i've never gotten much help and seem unsuccessful with threads. I STILL don't know how to make banners. But I LOVE to tektek. I've won a few contests but have my own way of doing things so my tekteks aren't for most, I suppose.
I don't have many real friends on there. Just people that add me and I don't know why. Lol... Maybe that's my problem.
And if anyone reads this I really don't know how people get the little dancing animations or wve in their sigs/posts or where to find them. If you could let me know, i'd be grateful.
